Project Coordinator - Walnut Creek, CA

Responsibilities

  • ​Communicate with vendors re: orders and customization

  • Prepare client proposals, purchase orders, and invoices

  • Maintain project schedules and order expediting

  • Maintaining our Design Studio materials library and manufacturer resources

  • Assist Principals on preparing for meetings

  • Coordinate project installations and photo shoots

  • Assist with preparation of color and material boards as needed for presentations

 

Qualifications

  • 3+ years office experience

  • Follow-through and follow-up skills are essential for the person in this position to be successful

  • Strong communication skills and sense of diplomacy with client and vendor relations

  • Must be eager to learn, roll with the punches, and be a flexible thinker

  • Must have a positive attitude and enjoy collaboration with a team

  • Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator a plus

  • Must have reliable car with valid California driver’s license and evidence of insurance

Junior Interior Designer - Walnut Creek

Responsibilities

  • Participate in various design projects from concept to completion

  • Preparing, managing and maintaining all project correspondence and documents

  • Collaborate on all phases of the design process

  • Work with technical designer on space planning 

  • Source materials, finishes, and furnishings for specification

  • Assist with follow-up meeting procedures: generate meeting notes, identifying action items

  • Assist with preparation of color and material boards as needed for presentations

  • Interface with clients, contractors, and vendors

  • Vendor inspections and job site meetings

  • Visit job sites to check progress

 

Qualifications

  • 1 -2 years of experience in Interior Design

  • Knowledge of SketchUp and Adobe Illustrator a plus

  • Strong communication skills and sense of diplomacy with client and vendor relations

  • Must be eager to learn, roll with the punches, and be a flexible thinker

  • Must have a positive attitude and enjoy collaboration with a team

  • Ability to work on multiple projects

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Must have excellent problem solving skills, a proactive approach, and be self-motivated

  • Must have reliable car with valid California driver’s license and evidence of insurance

  • Create CAD Drawings of Interiors - 2D and 3D

  • Create Real Specifications that can be Implemented

  • Line Drawings for Custom Furnishings

  • Create Elevations and Renderings

  • Coordinate with Lead Designer(s) on Project Details

  • Assist with follow-up meeting procedures: generate meeting notes, identifying action items

 

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in Technical Drawing for Interiors

  • Knowledge of SketchUp is a must
