Technical Designer
Responsibilities
-
Create plan sets including 3D renderings and elevations
-
Coordinate with Lead Designer(s) on Project Details
-
Assist with follow-up meeting procedures: generate meeting notes, identifying action items
Qualifications
-
3+ years of experience in Technical Drawing for Interiors
-
Knowledge of SketchUp is a must
-
Must have a positive attitude and enjoy collaboration with a team
-
Ability to work on multiple projects
-
Strong organizational and time management skills
-
Must have excellent problem solving skills, a proactive approach, and be self-motivated
-
Must have reliable car with valid California driver’s license and evidence of insurance
Interior Designer
Responsibilities
-
Participate in various design projects from concept to completion
-
Preparing, managing and maintaining all project correspondence and documents
-
Collaborate on all phases of the design process
-
Work with technical designer on space planning
-
Source materials, finishes, and furnishings for specification
-
Preparation of color and material boards as needed for presentations
-
Interface with clients, contractors, and vendors
-
Visit job sites to check progress
Qualifications
-
2+ years of experience in Interior Design
-
Knowledge of SketchUp and Adobe Illustrator a plus
-
Strong communication skills and sense of diplomacy with client and vendor relations
-
Must be eager to learn, roll with the punches, and be a flexible thinker
-
